Eileen from Marmot Baby came to me looking for help with her website and overall strategic direction. She had just recently started her business and signed up for Wix, eager to create her very first website on her own.
She tried hard but had to admit that creating a premium-looking, high-converting website was not that easy.
The project is ongoing, and we are still optimizing the site based on analytics and user feedback.
Eileen had just started her business and had no experience with websites or design. She offers a premium 1:1 consultation service for high-performing parents who do not want to choose between family and career.
While most baby sleep consultants focus on baby sleep, Eileen focuses on helping parents sleep well and perform better.
To reflect that premium approach, she wanted a premium-looking website that converts help-seeking parents into clients.
We started with competitor research, a short SWOT analysis, and an ideal customer profile (ICP) to sharpen Eileen's positioning and messaging on the website.
Marmot Baby is based near the Alps and wants to use an alpine theme as part of its brand identity. So I created a color palette reflecting this: warm, natural, earthy hues with a pop-out purple CTA color representing alpine crocus, already used in the logo.
The layout of the homepage follows a clear storyline and CTA. In total, the website consists of almost 20 pages in English and German.
Since Marmot Baby targets working parents and focuses on the business impact of healthy baby sleep, I suggested targeting businesses as clients as well. After a lot of research, an innovative corporate benefit arose that didn't exist yet.
Marmot Baby's website clearly sets it apart from other providers in this field and positions it as a premium service provider. The result was more leads that matched the ICP and therefore higher conversion rates.
Having a clear brand style guide on hand also helped Marmot Baby stay consistent in its look and feel as well as its messaging across other marketing channels and outreach strategies.
The newly created corporate benefit offering in particular generated a lot of attention due to its unique approach, relevance, and high ROI. Plenty of companies are already interested in this offering, opening up a completely new income stream for Marmot Baby with high-ticket clients.
